QUALITY AND PRODUCTION PROCESS

 

This new product generation took me six months of development. The design is printed on a thick plastic transparent sheet. Silkscreen technology is used to deposit the paint. This expensive technique allows to use metallic inks (real paint), deep black for an even stronger look! As the design is printed underneath the plastic plate, it is impossible to scratch the design during manipulations. Totally water and UV proof as well.

 

Here are some pictures of this specific production. Inking steps are repeated six times, since I use six different ink colors to produce these faceplates: four visible colors, and two other ones for the Night View vision. Last step, the cutting process is done with a hydro-pneumatic press-machine.

 

The entire production process is made in a silkscreen printing manufacture in Chambéry (French Alps).
